From small beginnings, Jaymark Waterproofing has grown into one of the leading waterproofing companies in the Cape Peninsula.
During the first 24 years of Jaymark Waterproofing's existence it mainly concentrated on conventional waterproofing. With the added skills and workforce that joined the company at the end of 2014 we have been able to do more and more turnkey projects where building and civil works are required. Our now well established skills base is able and qualified to do concrete repairs, decorating, flooring, roofing and restoration.

Thomas Drinkwater
Managing Director
Thomas is a qualified Concrete Technologist, Structural Steel Draughtsman and certified Project Manager. He is an associate member of the Institute of Concrete Technology (AMICT).
Previously Thomas was the Chairman of the Waterproofing Association of Kwazulu Natal and later Executive Member of Warac. He was a Site Agent for Fuller Civils, Ross Construction, Draughtsman, Project Manager and Estimator for Steeledale Cladding, a division of Grinaker LTA. His waterproofing experience includes 10 years as Regional Manager for Derbigum Manufacturing and briefly at Stoncor Africa as Technical Salesman.
Sean O'Riley
Operations Manager
Quantity Surveyor
Sean is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and Professional Member of the SA Association of Quantity Surveyors. Further memberships include: The Royal Institute of Quanitity Surveyors and The Chartered Institute of Building. Sean has been the former Regional Head of the CIOB and current Member of WARAC. Sean previously worked for Murray and Roberts, Talani Quantity Surveyors, as well as for GP Koning as Contracts Manager, he was the Regional Manager at the Waterproofing Centre and ABE Construction Chemicals.
Brett Thomas
Consultant
Brett is the newest member to the Jaymark team.
He is a qualified Construction Manager (Bsc CM UPE) with experience in multiple facets of the construction industry.
Brett's work experience is as follows: Site Engineer for WBHO, Operations Manager for Aspect Waterproofing, Construction Manager for Ocean Echo Properties, General Manager for Specialist Protective Applicators.
Brett has over 10 years experience in the construction industry.
